A Business Innovation Plan is a structured initiative through which a small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) introduces new business activities to enhance its operations and management. The plan is reviewed and approved by the national government or a prefectural authority under the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Management Enhancement Act.
Approval applies to the plan only and does not certify the products, services, or business activities described within it.
